Mayweather vs Mosley Fight
Many analysts believe that a Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley fight is more entertaining than Pacquiao vs Mayweather, according to Emmanuel Steward.
Steward is recognized as one of HBO's boxing commentators and a Hall of Fame trainer, said that a Pacquiao vs Mosley is much better.
“The true, true really explosive fight that the true fight fans would look forward to would be with Shane Mosley and Pacquiao,” Steward said on an interview with On the Ropes Boxing Radio.
Although Steward admits that most of the fans are eager to watch a Pacquiao vs Mayweather, but because of the fighting style between Pacquiao and Mosley its a better fight.
“I mean you know that Shane is going to bring it to you, I mean that’s him. There’s no way he’s going to run from anybody or try to be technical and if things get rough he’s still going to fight,” said Steward, who was behind the boxing successes of Tommy Hearns and Lennox Lewis.
Pacquiao and Mosley are alike when it comes to never backing down on a brawl. This made Pacquiao a very popular boxing champion.
Mosley wanted a Pacquiao fight after the Champion knocked out Ricky Hatton in the 2nd round.
However it never played between them so the Champion went for Miguel Cotto in the welterweight division.
Floyd Mayweather got out of retirement and opted to fight with Shane Mosley since his demands for a drug testing didnt worked out for Manny Pacquiao.
